1st Day in Cairo: 

You will be picked up from your hotel early in the morning and transferred to Hurghada airport where you will fly to Cairo (flight duration is approximately 1 hour). In Cairo, your guide will be waiting for you in front of the terminal.

We start the Cairo full day tour with a visit to Saqqara, which is located about 30 km southwest of Cairo. You will visit the Step Pyramid built for King Djoser which is an important aspect of pyramid development.

Then continue our journey to Dahshur about 10 km south of Saqqara. King Snefru built two large pyramids here: the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid. The pyramids of Dahshur were an extremely important learning experience for the Egyptians. They mediate the transition from stepped pyramids to pyramids with smooth sides.

Afterwards, you will have time to relax and refresh yourself with a typical Egyptian lunch.

Now admire the Great Pyramids of Giza, Cheops, Khafre and Menkaur. Next, explore the Valley Temple, the site where the priests mummified the body of King Khafre. Get up close to the famous Sphinx, the legendary guardian with the head of a king and the body of a lion.

At the end of the first day, we will transfer you to your hotel overlooking the Pyramids, where you will spend the night and prepare for the second day.

2nd Day in Cairo: 

In the morning you will have breakfast and check out from the hotel.

We start the day with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, which houses the world’s largest collection of precious Egyptian art. In particular, admire the treasures of Tutankhamun’s tomb; golden death mask, golden throne, golden coffins and more.

Next, we drive to the Coptic Quarter and visit Al-Muallaq (Hanging Church), which was built on the portal of the Babylonian fortress. On the carved wooden iconostasis, there are many beautiful old icons: Revelation, Holy Nativity, John the Baptist, as well as icons of angels and the Twelve Apostles.

Continue towards the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar. The numerous shops in the area are known for selling fine brass, copper, leather, silver, gold and more. Enjoy a walk along the old street of El Moez, an open-air museum with many old buildings from the early Islamic period.

At the end of the second day, you will have a transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight back to Hurghada. From Hurghada airport we will take you to your hotel.
